10 Clever Ideas for Organising Your Motorhome’s Kitchen
One of the advantages of travelling by motorhome is the freedom it gives you when it comes to food. You can stick with your menus and recipes, as well as being able to take all the food you want and need. Tailor-made gastronomy for your caravanning adventures!
Best of all, you can always combine eating in your motorhome, with the occasional trip to a local restaurant, café and/or bar in the area. What do you think of the plan?
1. Essential Cooking Utensils

Take only what you need with you. If you think about it, you don't need a lot of utensils to cook and eat in your motorhome. Here is a list of what we believe to be the must-haves:
- 1 medium frying pan with removable handle and lid.
- 1 medium saucepan with removable handle and lid.
- 1 set of cutlery per person.
- Stackable glasses or collapsible cups made of sturdy, lightweight material.
- Stackable plates and bowls made of strong, lightweight material such as melamine or bamboo.
- 1 Folding knife for cooking; it can be a penknife.
- 1 Kitchen spatula with a folding or short handle.
- Collapsible Tupperware.
- Placemats.
To all this, add what you feel you might need. As we have already said, the best thing is that you can customise trips to your needs.
Do you drink coffee? A very good option is an Italian coffee maker. Portable electric coffee machines are also available
Do you drink milkshakes? There are portable blenders that can also be used for puréeing.
