1974
The journey begins

Few people know that the brand began its journey in 1974, by manufacturing caravans and mobile homes in modest facilities in Benicarló (Spain).

1978
The first motorhome is created

The first model of a motorhome ia manufactured, called Colón and built on a Mercedes chassis.

1988
Sunroof Revolution

The first Benimar with a sunroof is launched that year; a model that became very popular and completely changed the caravanning experience of the time.

1996
New Era

The transfer of production to the new facilities in Peñiscola (Spain) resulted in an increase to the plant's capacity thanks to its 6,000 m2 warehouse.

2002
Trigano Group

We became part of Trigano, one of the major European groups in the manufacture of leisure vehicles.

2012
Originality and design

Pioneers in new trends, we dared with the high-contrast Bi-tone furniture, breaking with the traditional design that the competition had.

New ISB technology

The ISB system (Isolation System Benimar) is developed and is still used in all our motorhomes today, guaranteeing maximum insulation, comfort and durability.

The UP philosophy was created for customers who are just starting out in the world of caravanning and are looking for an easy-to-handle vehicle with everything they need to start travelling.
