Types of interior layout in a motorhome
When it comes to choosing the perfect vehicle, the motorhome’s interior design plays a crucial role. In this article you will discover Benimar’s infinite possibilities in terms of the interior design of each of its ranges.
Interior layout of our motorhomes
The interior layout of motorhomes is a very personal choice but at the same time a determining factor to be able to achieve a comfortable and functional stay. The key? To strategically distribute the fittings to optimize space.
If there is one thing that distinguishes Benimar, this is the wide variety of layouts to choose from according to your preferences and needs. Discover the different types of motorhomes that exist according to their fittings below:
Bedroom

In the world of motorhomes, having a bedroom is no longer a must-have, since there are different bed alternatives to convert this space when it comes to bedtime.
Central bed

It is a double bed that occupies the entire space, i.e. the width of the bed is equivalent to the width of the motorhome inside. This typology allows you to enjoy a comfortable, cosy space to rest.
Central bed in suite

Also known as an island bed, this is a double bed located in the centre of the bedroom, with space on both sides, unlike the central bed. This allows you to move freely around the room, resembling a bedroom in a house.
Rear transversal bed

Transverse beds are those installed parallel to the bottom of the cab. These variants are perfect for gaining space in the interiors of motorhomes, due to the width being a few centimetres less than the length.
Twin beds

What do we call twin beds? Two single ones placed parallel to each other, both perpendicular at the back of the motorhomes interior. Its great advantage? The space between the two allows this typology to be converted into a central bed, simply by adding an included accessory, thus expanding the sleeping space.
Bunk Beds

Bunk beds are two beds placed vertically. These can be single, double or combined, depending on the model. Bunk beds optimize space without sacrificing the comfort of a conventional bed.
Roof Bed

A hanging bed or, as we know it at Benimar, a bed suspended from the ceiling, is located at the head of the luton, low profile or over the cabin of the A-class models.
They can also be placed at the rear of the motorhome interior layout, over the bed or over the rear lounge, and can be single or double depending on the model. The great advantage of this type of bed is the possibility of dispensing with the bedroom during the day and expanding the motorhome’s space.
Lounge
The type of lounge is determined by the seating arrangement. In addition, at Benimar you have a wide range of upholstery to choose from, depending on the range, which allow you to decorate the interior of luxury motorhomes.
“Face to face" lounge

These are armchairs located on both sides of the motorhome, to enjoy an open space where you can eat, telework and enjoy a good cup of coffee in the best company.
L-shaped living room
The L-shaped living room is similar to the "face-to-face" living room, with the difference that this one includes another sofa perpendicular to the others. In addition, as the driver and co-driver seats can be rotated, the L-shaped lounge can be converted into a square lounge at any time, creating a cosy, inviting space for conversation.
Rear living room
The rear lounge becomes the main lounge and is added to the L lounge in the interior of the Mileo 282 low profile motorhomes, offering the possibility of creating two separate spaces where you can enjoy the best company without sacrificing comfort.
Kitchens

Without a doubt, it all starts in the kitchen. Being able to enjoy your best dishes anywhere, with everything you need to carry your imagination to the limit, is one of Benimar's priorities. For this reason, we have designed different types of kitchens to make the most of every corner of the motorhome.
L-shaped kitchens: are those located in a corner of the motorhomes interior layout. They offer ample storage space and everything you need so you won't miss your kitchen at home.
Single piece: i.e. a single straight module, with worktop and hob on drawers. A functional, compact mini-kitchen with which you can let your imagination run wild and surprise your family and guests. (The Tessoro also includes it)
Cupboard
A motorhome must not only have enough space for living, but also needs storage areas where you can put all those "just in case" items that are essential in your road trips; that's why all Benimar motorhomes and campers have spacious and easily accessible cupboards so you can have everything in its place quickly, easily and safely.
Showers

The shower and toilet also have a lot to do in the interior layout of motorhomes and like everything in your vehicle Benimar it is designed to the very last millimetre. In the interior bathroom of the different motorhomes you will find:
Modular cabin
It is the closest thing to a conventional bathroom. It has a full bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, not to mention auxiliary storage so you can store what you need for your trip. The sizes will depend on the model and the internal arrangement of the motorhome
Separate shower
This motorhome interior layout has two modular cabins, one with a shower and the other with a toilet and sink.
